About us

 The pictures of the last major German wildfire disasters in Lübtheen (Brandenburg) and Bad Schandau (Saxony) have shown that climate changeis becoming more and more of a reality, even here in Germany. Unfortunately, the pictures of these catastrophes have also shown that there is a lot of catching up to do in Germany when it comes to fighting wildfires.

That's where Schaarschmidt & Zießler Feuer - Salamander GbR come in.

We are a young company located in the heart of the Ore Mountains, specializing in the sale of wildfire extinguishing systems. Our employees have many years of experience  in fighting fires and working with pumping systems. We would like to use this experience  to offer our customers a product with which they can protect their property.

Due to  demographic changes and many other contributing factors, the local fire brigades are unfortunaltely not always able to provide immediate help. Therefore our offer is primarily aimed at private farmers and foresters as well as business owners. Use our wildfire extinguishing system to:

-  prevent the development or spread of a fire,

-  bridge the time until the arrival of the fire brigade,

- protect your operational facilities or  events.

Our team

Thomas Schaarschmidt

Born 1958; trained high pressure boiler attendant,  Presently self-employed haulage contractor. Supporter of the volunteer fire department.

Andreas Ziessler

Born 1987; trained tool mechanic. Works in the tooling department of a medium-sized, long-established company. In his spare time he works as a group leader and pump operator for the volunteer fire brigade in Wolkenstein.
